Nice post!  Agree on all points.

Regarding the EDGE, Ovie just doesn't excite me that much.  I saw very little from him last year. He seemed to take himself out of position a lot and when he was in the right place he was easily blocked. Hopefully it's changed.  Sorrel (sp) I'm a little excited about.  He flashed some last year in limited time and he knew hownto set the edge.
TFB has said some very good things about Ovie since beginning of spring. He's filled out and understands the defense very well now, and its been showing.

Sorrel did flash some last year. But this off-season was very kind to Mr. Sorrel. Everybody who has seen him says he's a sculpted mass of muscle now.

That is great to hear on both.

For those like me that were around the 70's and either knew or saw Steve McMichael; he now has ALS.  The pictures, that I won't post show the damage it can do to a person.  It is sad to see him now as to how he once was.   You can google him to see pictures, but I won't do it. I have to how respect for him and his family.

Yes ALS sucks.  My mom passed away from ALS.  There is a slow moving or fast moving ALS.  He must have the slow moving.  My mom was diagnosed in May 1999 and passed Feb 2000.  Praying for the best for him.

Has their been any updates/notes/synopsis from the scrimmage on Saturday?  I know it was closed to the media, buit surely there is some info on if defense dominated or if the offense looked better than the 1st one.

Thanks for the update.  That is sweet music.  Losing Neyor and Angilau still hurt, but having Banks and Hutson back will be just fine for the OL.  Hopefully Omiere regains his confidence and he can get back to doing what he was doing n last years fall camp.  Now if they san just get A. Hall to fall in line and re-join the team then the WR group will be just fine as well.

Catching up from over the weekend. Glad Sark named Ewers the starter. Glad to see @Johnny Deppis in mid-season form...

It wouldn't be football season without you, bud!

By the way he said "I don't", my impression was that Sark was not planning ahead to predict the flow of the game. He can't really say, "He will come in when we are 30 points ahead." That's a bit of blatant hubris to presume that.
