We'll know soon. 3rd head coach after Mack Brown, 3rd head coaching job for Sarkisian. That old saying may have some merit this time.

New coaches, new schemes, after all we've been through, it would be easy to expect disappointment. But I don't.

Kinda like learning to ride a bike, may be a little wobbly at  first, but once you start rolling, take the training wheels off and look out!

Expect misreads on both offense and defense that will keep the game closer than it should be, but also expect big plays that will give us a glimpse of what is to come.

I predict that we start to roll late in the game and win by 17.

What say you?

Is this a prediction thread? lol

I'll go with:

Texas 34

Louisiana 21

I am proudly wearing burnt orange tinted shades this evening. Louisiana actually scares me quite a bit but I'm trusting in this staff to have the team ready to play. I'm thinking Sark is going to turn our offense into something to talk about and our defense is already pretty stiff.

Louisiana's OL is salty with tons of experience. Our DL is the strength of our team. It will be an interesting matchup all game long.

Wasn't Mack the 3rd head coach after a fairly stable Fred Akers?

Charlie Strong = David McWilliams (both had no clue what they were doing here)

Tom Herman = Jon Mackovic (both considered Off fixes and both had some success with bowl games and recruiting)

Steve Sarkisian = Mack Brown??  (Lets hope this 3rd time is the charm)

On to the game.  ULL is a scary game to start, but I believe the Texas DL will overwhelm the ULL OL and cause some costly mistakes and TOs. Texas Off stumbles a little in the 1st half and then catches their stride midway through the 3rd qtr.  Also, we will see something we haven't observed on the 40 acres since 2013, HALFTIME ADJUSTMENTS. Texas wins 38-17.

Lol. Thanks, SHA. It was  meant to be, but I fell asleep before I could finish my thought.

...and we finish 10-2 starting a new era of winning teams.
