This is a HUGE problem. Currently, the US military does not have an adequate defense for supersonic/hypersonic missiles. there were discussions a while back about weaponizing space assets to engage the supersonic weapon systems (ships, land, etc) but, even if that can happen in the future, it cant happen now.

By itself, this isnt big news but it is collectively and in context of the continued conflict.
Gaza is done at this point and trying to consolidate its Hamas forces. But now, Hezbollah (Iran) is trying to keep this conflict alive in the international news. It has been said for years that Hezbollah has at least 150,000 rockets/missiles ready to fire at Israel.
This also gives Hezbollah training opportunities. With each rocket fire they learn how & what to do hit Israel; at some point they may get closer to their targets. A few days ago, they fired three rockets and ALL three landed in the Mediterranean Sea. The other day they fired three and two landed in Lebanon. Now, they fired four rockets: one was intercepted ; one landed in open area in Israel; and two landed in Mediterranean Sea... so they are getting closer to figuring it out.
On a different note, the American MSM is NOT reporting the damage and deaths Hamas & Hezbollah are inflicting on their OWN people through these errant rocket impacts. The estimates now are that the MAJORITY of civilian deaths in Gaza were caused by the almost 500 Hamas rockets that went array and landed in Gaza.

Often we have to take bravado from communist countries with a grain of sand but I fear this is true. And, if it is true, then western countries and America in particular have the WRONG people in charge now to counter what China is doing. Granted China is where they are at through a strong spy network to gain technology but that is kind of irrelevant at this point.
