I'm honestly having a hard time believing this. Stoops hadn't coached linebackers since 1991. Why would that offer be made when every other hire Sark has made has extensive experience at their position? Just doesn't line up to me and it's really just one guy (Zenitz) with the story.

Hutzler and Coleman were good hires, IMO. Boulware was another story.

I heard a story about Jay Boulware from when UT hired him last year. Herman was all excited since now he would be able to learn about Lincoln Riley's offense. Herman had Boulware go to the chalk board to demonstrate. After a couple of minutes, Herman and the other coaches could see he didn't know anything.

I agree. If he wanted Stoops that is his choice as long as Stoops has done nothing illegal. The fan base that wanted Meyer, with his history, is now going to cry outrage over Stoops?

Herman didnt listen to "us" or anyone and look where it got him.  Sark not burning his BMD bridges early will pay dividends and Stoops is not worth falling on the sword.
