Worth noting Gideon would likely be involved in special teams as he was Ole Miss' coordinator this year, and he also coached special teams at Houston.

He has coached both corners and safeties in his short career, so we'll have to see where Sark puts him.

That's certainly one way to look at it, which would give credit to TFB's sourcing that Sark is negotiating with Muschamp and requested Gideon due to their history together.

It's also an example of what we talked about yesterday about how OCs and DCs will want to bring certain assistants with them if they're going to move to another school.

Yep, @Sirhornsalotmentioned above Arnett is not the primary target.

Hamilton at IT reported today that LSU DBs coach and recruiting coordinator, Corey Raymond, is still in play.

Him moving to Texas is also not dependent on Will Muschamp.

Hearing up here that Odom is staying at Arkansas, which I'm happy about. And he and Pittman, like I said yesterday, are very tight. I don't know how much of a candidate he was, or even if he was interviewed. It is absolutely imperative that we get the defensive side and O-Line coaching hires right.
