Winning 4 Super Bowls kinda makes him a social icon.  He’s known by folks who aren’t necessarily football fans.  Had he not won those he prolly wouldn’t be as recognizeable.

just A few posts up you said if he hadn’t won those 4 SBs then this wouldn’t even be a conversation so yes you are letting his social status or reputation make a difference in this.

I just think some are making  too much of this.  It’s funny
And you are one of the ones making too much of this. In fact, way too much. Something is a little off with your tired defense of Bradshaw.

Chronically offended society
Well, maybe our HS society shouldn’t be directly offended, but Sam can be if he chooses.  I’m not too keen on personal attacks directed at me, and probably would be offended by a media member being negative about myself.  Of course my football talent does not warrant any critique :D

I don't think I care enough about this to continue. You're free to your own opinion as am I. I would hope you could do that in the future without trying to ridicule others simply because they disagree with you.

I’d be willing to bet Sam wasn’t bothered by it at all.

Wasnt ridiculing anybody, and yes we are all free to opinions.  I was just saying how I thought some were taking his comments too seriously.  I’ve read about this on multiple sites and most I’ve seen so far think it’s not that big of a deal

Why isn't that UT/ND Cotton Bowl game ever on LHN? One of the best games ever.
Agree. Would love to see a wider variety of games on LHN. I watched the '83 Horns and OU last night. I was surprised they showed it. They show the 2005 NCG too much, IMO. And the year before's rose bowl.

Others I'd like to see
– Roll Left championship game

– 1-pt loss to Georgia that cost us the national championship in '81.

– Dillo's Notre Dame game.

– The Tech home game where Aaron Humphrey almost murdered Klingsbury . . or Carlos Francis almost lost his head to Nathan Vasher.

– The game we beat Bama in the cotton bowl in the early 70s.

LHN is now (Sunday) showing UT/Miss 2013 game that UT lost 44-23. I've never seen a UT loss shown on LHN Classic College Football before.
