I agree with what you're saying, but a degree from The University of Texas is certainly not irrelevant either for a smart young man.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I have 2 degrees from UT that have served me well. All I’m saying is you just can’t look at it from a pure football stand point. A lot of factors involved.

I understand that, but in all honesty if my kid got into Stanford it would be hard to tell them no too. Im sure this is not purely a football decision.

I hope that Patrick never lets himself get dehydrated like that again, if that was the problem. Hopefully, it doesn’t have any long term effects.

Until I was treated at MDA, I never really thought about dehydration, though as a Freshman I worked out hard for 6 hours or more on the old Freshman Field that was covered in AstroTurf and in Memorial Stadium.  Now, that I’m conscious of it, I can feel the difference when not properly hydrated.

No doubt. I am susceptible to gall stones/kidney stones. There are two ways/reasons they form and one of them is dehydration, which doc tells me is why I get them.

So I almost always have a water bottle with me these days. Passing stones is no fun at all.

Had mine removed due to stones. Woke up at midnight in bad pain. Ambulance thought I was having a heart attack. Took it out that day. I had never had any pain from the gall bladder before that time.

Couldn't they say commit now only if you won't look at an LSU offer? Yes saying it is one thing, but it's still something. Maybe they know enough about the kid to believe him.

Not really. The LSU threat is just something we'll have to live with until its over, or when they get Sopsher, whichever comes first.
