Week 9 wasn't nearly as hard on top 10 teams as week 8. But it is good to see Urban's OSU knocked out. Bonus: Texas moves up from 7 to 6.

Bama knocks off LSU, Ohio St knocks off Michigan – we keep winning – we're in top 4.

Let's go ahead and add usc upsetting nd and we're in the top 3, avoid bama in the semis...
A key for us, IMO, is not facing OU in the CCG. We need to be big time WVU fans when OU plays WVU. Heck, I'm thinking Tech has a chance as they host OU soon.

I'd just assume see WVU in the CCG.

We need to beat OU again to remove all doubt.  Play penalty free and we can do that.  If Ohio State beats Michigan, they will jump us.

For now though,  just beat Oklahoma State.  10-9

It is very hard to beat a good team 2 times in a season, especially if it happens to be a rival as well.
Agree. Yet my hope -- should this rematch come about -- is that the area of most improvement over the Cotton Bowl game, is Todd Orlando figuring out a way to stifle Murry. #1 and #5 and that running back.

You Fool! lol

Like Dillo said, its tough to beat a team twice in one season. It rarely happens unless its Bama.

Thing is and I never wanted to admit this, but I think the light bulb turned on for Murray during the 4th quarter of our game. To that point, he was a bit timid and indecisive for the most part.

Of course, we shouldn't overlook Orlando's ability to counter, like Epictetus pointed out. But Orlando would have the odds working against him, IMO.

The other thing is, maybe OU gets their defensive act together before the season is over. That would not be good.

I have my money on Orlando if we face them again, he will have more tape to study by then. Still not ruling out that Murray gets popped and injured.

I think we need to make it to the CCG before we start talking about who we will face. At this point, I see a number of games the top 3 teams might lose. Heck it could be Iowa State and Tech playing for the championship.

1 game at a time and let's enjoy this season. Plenty of football left and chaos is hiding behind every yard marker.
