Donald Menasco was a part of a great Longview defence. Went on to play for Horns and then the Giants and some other pro team . My memory some times fails me.

As far as OL there is proably enough names starting with B to give Texas 3 or so.Might not suit coaches standards. But will play for someone.

I'm not either.  Get Caleb and call it a LB class at that point.  Floyd, Gbenda, Johnson, and Tillman is a solid LB class.  Have a potential day 1 starter in Johnson to go along with Ayodele, McCulloch and possibly Overshown. Sprinkle in a little Floyd and not too bad.  I figure Roach will move back to DE, Ossai will play some B-Backer, and Vaughns is still developing at LB. I take it Bimage is a full time DE now.

Notice, TFB is speaking from the Brooks POV, not the Texas POV.  As bad as we need LBs, I just don't see Brooks ever landing at UT. And I would think a lot more of TH if that held true.

It’s going to come down to numbers for LSU. If they keep playing well they will likely try to maximize their spots and that would bode well for Texas in regards to this recruitment.

The "definitive statements" they used were direct quotes from the father of Bru McCoy. It was a good interview overall and certainly glowing in terms of Texas.

There is a difference is providing the words from the horse's mouth as opposed to adding things up in your head and coming up with a statement of guess.

Per his father, that’s not accurate. McCoy will announce at the Adidias All-American Bowl on January 5.

This is what I wrote, “The original plan was to announce at the All America game but Horace says, because of Bru’s early enrollee status, they may do a special signing day announcement, instead.” Per his father, they are considering moving it to signing day.

So there is nothing here about announcing after the ou game. The December signing day seems the most likely..
