Re-watching the RRR game from 2017.... tell me why G. Johnson didn’t get more playing time??.Against mizzou he was a game changer.

also hope to God UT gets rid of the QB “clapping” cadence to snap the ball. To simple to jump the snap. 

The clapping thing has been ridiculous over the last 4 years.  It makes the QB look juvenile.  How about being vocal with a snap count.

Yes! Drives me crazy! Makes our already questionable OLine look worse when every d lineman gets huge jump on the snap.

Just got through listening to an interview with Malik on local radio (dfw)

He spoke eloquently and represented himself and the University well as he usually does, but 2 things stood out to me. 

1. He said how with Herman, everybody knew what to expect from the other team and how no team did anything that they weren't expecting. Also that the discipline and people that were brought in knew how to behave and meet expectations on and off the field. He tried to explain that it wasn't an issue under the previous staff, but how it was different under Herman.

2. He said that when he was moved to the inside he wasn't given the fundamentals to make the switch successfully. He said he basically went on instinct his first 2 years. He praised Orlando's knowledge of the position and showing him the nuances of the position as well as the proper tecniques.

I thought it was a very telling interview on what may have contributed to CS not being successful in Austin and hopefully what will make Herman a success.

...Herman leaves nothing to chance. Success is in the details.

Texas Men's golf team with a resounding 1st place finish at the Raleigh, North Carolina regional. Team won by 27 strokes and Doug Ghim captured the individual championship as well. Well done!

Both the men and women's are in the national championship tournament starting next week and are playing well.
