last week Colin Cowherd suggested Herman's comments did not warrant the perception from Meyer -- and that likely it's about recruiting battles between the two... I'm pretty sure Herman poses a threat to Meyer continuing to raid top Texas talent. Especially if Herman can get through this season and can hold the 2018 verbals.

Right now Rivals has it Ohio State, Miami, Penn State, Texas  -- and Meyer just got schooled by a BigXII team that made his offense look tepid. With a QB from Wichita Falls that Herman once coached, but did not look good in an offense Sat night.

At the risk of pissing myself off, I have to look at this in a sort of positive for the Big 12. Beating OSU did a number of things for the conference and for ESPN pundits who had already crowned OSU as national champs. What was worse is that it happened at OSU's famed horseshoe.

I was getting pretty tired of hearing how the Big 12 just couldn't measure up. Now Texas needs to take care of bidness this week. If not a win, then give me a close game.

We'll beat the dog shit out of OU and make them like it. So for now, I'm okay with the OU win. lol
