*****Texas vs. Texas Tech*****

Loved the O calling for 3 quaters... Things came a bit unhinged in the 4th! I have no clue what Gilbert is thinking sometimes. As a comentator stated "thats the kinda play call that gets you fired."

Same. Anyone who thinks this wasn't a great win is fooling themselves. With that said, abysmal play-calling on our last drive.

We got the win, but this team is frustrating to watch at times. Another site has said that CS needs to win 7 games to come back. If you count Kansas as a win then he needs to beat either TCU or West Virginia at home to come back. If Charlie can't beat Kansas then he doesn't deserve to come back.

Any day that there is a Longhorn win then it's a good day. Any day that there is a Longhorn win and an aggie loss then it's a great day.

I am not going to nitpick today. Defense played very well......much improved. Offense played really good. Great team win. Played hard, played physical. Lots of freshman playing well. A few to many mistakes are this would have been a rout. They are getting better. Could have folded many times today, but fought. Proud of everyone today.

Hook'em.........Ooooooooooo Ooooooooooo- Coyotes r circling

A win is a win, but i had my doubts right there at the end. Tech has no defense and if ours was better this game would have been over at half. Kansas should not be a problem just need to make sure everyone stays healthy.

Coaching almost lost us the game. Thank god our talent is good enough to over come that.
In the 4th quarter, Texas had the ball in an obvious "need to run some clock" situation.

They ran a series of bone headed plays that got nowhere and burned up less than a

minute off the clock. One of the tv announcers said "That kind of play calling can get

coaches fired."

Two things:

(1) Not dismissing the horrid play calling at the end of the game, but I get not kicking the FG. Weather was getting worse in the stadium. Coupled with our kicking challenges this season, I get it. That said, give Foreman the damn ball!

(2) Penalties: UT - 9 for 99 yards; Tech - 4 for 14 yards (none of them holding calls). Couple that with the non-penalty calls that were downright moronic...WTF Big 12 officiating?

Well I watched my recording of the game and again felt that Foreman had hold of the ball when it broke the plane and the Tech player took it out of his hands while the ball was over. the Tech player was also standing in the end-zone while doing it. I will go to my grave believing that.

I watched my recording of the game and again felt Edwin Freeman played well. Any thoughts?
Agree with that. I also thought Holton Hill and Bonney played well. Both were good in open space and their coverage was pretty good. TT completed a couple of passes on them, but they were right there. Additionally, TT was able to drive the ball when Cole, Evans, and a slew of freshman in there. Limit those minutes and this defense will be B12 good.
