First off I'll admit I didn't think there was anyway Charlie would be gone a few weeks ago, now however I still think he'll be back I thinks it's 50/50 and would not be surprised if he's gone 4-8 won't cut it. I know a lot want Herman if Charlie is gone but I want les miles he's proven to win games and lot of them and can recruit great. His daughter goes to UT I believe so let's go get him and get him Scott frost as OC

Who needs a HC that is 110-32 since 2005 and a proven recruiter (top rated 2016 class so far), when we have core values and a clueless staff at 4-8.

He took a bad team, 30-38 over 5 seasons, under Bob Simmons to a bowl game in 3 of his 4 years and a better than .500 record.  

Plus he beat the NC Sooners twice, once in his first year as HC.

You can say what they want about the guy but he is a great coach and recruiter.   He recruits Texas very well as we all know.

Les is probably going to take at least a year off and I am sure he will show up on ESPN and who knows with plenty of money in the bank that desire to Coach and deal with all the headaches that come with it might just not be as strong as we all think.

Les would fit in really well at Texas as his only problem is the lack of QB play which is why Lsu is tired of him. Texas knows about poor QB play. he would be an upgrade over Charlie based on what Strong has done at Texas so far.  I`m pretty sure Les would jump at chance to meet Stoops every year as he loved to lob insults at bob while at Osu. recruiting wise you just need to look at nfl rosters to see his impact there. Miles would need to hit home run with OC hire just like with Strong if he stays.
