A Locker Room Divided?

Best news of the day. People wanted a culture change, well here we go.

The foundation class for Strong, that was suppose to be a culture changing class, isn't following the lead of Mack Brown upperclassmen. I'm on board.

Not good heading into the Ho-U game...has CFS lost this team???

I know I'll get crap from a few people, but I'm way past the point of seeing this team handle things like gentlemen. I want a bunch or wound up pit bulls ready to sink their teeth into someone. Maybe just maybe we will get something that reflects fear inspiring play on the field. Spurs talk mention that there have been a couple of team meetings since the TCU shit show and the coaches were involved and getting called out by the players for player personnel decisions...... Now we get to see this team sink or swim. Let the games begin

My first idea of division in the locker room was when Gray's father seemed more worried about the offense not revolving around his son rather than the team. As a former player he should have known better. As a father he is obviously most concerned about his son's future. I understand both.

Here is the deal: Seniors, you have not lived up to the standard of excellence that came before you. There are myriad reasons (excuses) for this but it is a fact.

Seniors, if you are leaders, you will embrace what the young players can contribute. Further, I hold you directly responsible for any mutinous/subversive comments that emanate from this locker room.

You are in the midst of the most public job interview you will ever participate in. Long after football, it will be the relationships that you are building right now that help you get ahead. Do you want to be remembered as one of the players who used his leverage as a senior to undermine his coach or do you want to be remembered as part of the solution and a member of the class that showed the underclassmen the value of buying in!

I don't know who this guy is either, but I agree that he is speaking the Real
Writer in South Florida that used to write for Deadspin. I'll try and go find the article he wrote awhile back where he said this very type thing would happen (I.e that the FR class would do their own thing because they are a different breed from the Mack recruits). Essentially, he said there would be a huge culture change with the FR class.

What surprises me is how long it took for this to happen. That is not criticism, just the law of the jungle.

Every one of these seniors has apparently forgot that it is not age that defines an ass kicker and there is plenty that the underclassmen can learn from the seniors.

I don't know how it is going to happen but there needs to be a meeting of the minds real quick.

They need to find the common ground, end the division and play as a team.

If they don't, I fear what other posters have referenced, a dumpster fire. Let us all hope that this entire team, coaches and all, can finally get on the same page.
