Rocket II... I am anxious for baseball season after the Horns came so close last year in Omaha.

I'm anxious to see how we play. Don't have any post season expectations yet. Things really fell into place for us last year getting put in the Rice regional and with LSU getting upset. The big question mark is as always....BATS....Can we hit and also get good at bats; because that is what killed us the last several years. If we are smart at the plate we should have a good chance at a run toward Omaha. It's all about the batters box and the guys in it. The other question is how will the new ball affect our pitching performances.??? 

This should be an interesting season. I hope my job and umpiring doesn't keep me from too many games. If it does my mother in law will be the beneficiary. My wife takes her in my place. She saw 90% more of the games I did the last two years.....SMH. I got to go to three weekend series and the super regionals last year....SMH

I am too... But, I think we will/should see some dramamtic(yes my Burnt Orange Glass are on) improvement from the past..

But, there are some questions that will need to be answered??

Yup - BATS is the question - good at bats especially with runners in scoring position.  The Horns left a huge number of men on base last season that killed 'em at key times.

Killed them so bad that they were 1 of 4 teams left at the CWS..
