I will take a wait and see if he has Watson calling plays or Wickline for the matter. Won't be pretty if it doesn't hum. But if it does, all good. A leader is only as good as his team. Strong better micromanage every detail given his staff has a few gaps.

Besides Wickline given Robinson is looking at a NFL Job, who are the great offensive staff coaches? This is worse than what we have had the last 3 years for offensive coaches. Sh**, this is worse than the Greg Davis years. That looks great comparatively.

Only good news I have seen is Watson could go somewhere else. Strong has to get out of his comfort zone. Part of growing.

Well it sure is like the hiring is ass backwards. Hire the Offensive Coordinator first, then go after Offensive assistants. Quite logical and makes for good alignment with the OC. If backwards, you may end up with Watson and then the RB coach who thought he would be with a great offense...

If Wyatt was retained, we would be full at 9 coaches. So glad he is not as we need an OC. Having said that, he should have been kept over Chambers easily.

I like any combination pretty much that does not include Watson. With 9 assistants, I like something like this: OC/QB - Riley or Herman or someone similar OL/Run Game Cood - Wickline WR - Wyatt TE/Special Teams - Zook or Brewster RB - Robinson DC - Bedford DL - Rumph LB - Jean-Mary DB...

Huge get for OL. With RB coach from USC plus some with Riley Lincoln and the offense is ready to be aggressive. This is setting up well. ;)

I am good with Searles or Wickline. Both are great. Either/or. Not my area of concern unless both are off the table.
