'72 Texas averaged 25.4 points on offense and gave up 10.8 points on defense. '77 Texas averaged 35.9 points on offense and gave up 9.5 points on defense. How do they compare to the '83 Longhorns?

Greetings everyone. What team was the best team the Longhorns have ever defeated? I would imagine many would say USC 2005 and if that's the overwhelming choice, then which team was the next best team the Longhorns have ever defeated? Some ones that come to mind for me; Alabama 1964...

That's the only downside I see to this. I'm all for better football games, but those schools do use that big paycheck for their athletic programs.
