Can anyone explain why Wyatt wouldn't be retained? The only reasonable explaination/guess I have is he has or will be taking a job elsewhere.

The comments are embarrassing but no one should feel more embarrassed than Red. If there's a silver lining, it's just another chip on Strongs shoulder and will only add more fire and passion to an already passionate guy. Prove the the bitter old rich guy wrong Charlie!!!

I've gone from feeling underwhelmed and frankly a little disappointed Friday night to feeling like we may have found the right coach for the right time at Texas. We all wanted a change in culture and that's what we will get with Strong. He's going to build Texas back up by working our way back...

There's a whole lot of assumptions in that statement. Did you ever think that maybe he's going to get Texas football back on top by maximizing its potential, win some championships along the way and retire in 5-7 years regarded as the GOAT?
