WEEKEND SERIES – Texas visits Kentucky

Hit by Pitch is annoying in this series... UK guys diving over the plate... no worries. Kimble says he gets hit, has a mark, no hbp.... frustrating.

In non-baseball news, a house appears to have blown up in N Austin, about 15 miles from me, and it shook our house. Initial reports are there was at least one person in the house and they're receiving treatment. There may have been others.
I actually live 5 miles from the incident. I was in the gasoline line at Sam’s and everyone was shocked by the volume. We could see the plumes of smoke into the sky. My wife called and said the house shook. The Ring app was going crazy along with Avery Ranch Facebook. Three people were hurt and I still haven’t heard of the cause.

I thought maybe a natural gas explosion but my wife found the house on Realtor.Com and it appears to be all electric.

KXAN reported on it so hopefully they’ll let us know on the news later. I also haven’t heard of any fatalities so that’s extremely fortunate!

Wow. I am currently mom sitting in Dripping Springs TX,but checking the location from the news article, and it's about 1 mile as the crow flies from our house.

Frustrating at times, but a good series win. We got to see a lot of arms in high-pressure situations. I was really impressed by Burns yesterday in the loss. Saunier did well to close the game today.

Last week Texas used 5 guys, this week they had to use a lot of different guys and got the job done.

Nice to see some rarely used arms step up and log some quality innings. Moffitt, Saunier and Burns all did good jobs in appearances this weekend.

I think this is what we can expect with this staff and the benefit of bringing in Max "the arm farm" Weiner. In season development and more usable arms at the end of the season compared to the beginning.
