Here we go into Week 10 of the season. Chapalahorn is our current defending champion. Let's see who can unseat him this week! Or can he pull off the consecutive wins?

The Games:

#10 Miami (6-1) at SMU (5-3)

Navy (7-0) at North Texas (7-1)

Arizona State (5-3) at Iowa State (5-3)

#15 Virginia (7-1) at Cal (5-3)

#18 Oklahoma (6-2) at #14 Tennessee (6-2)

#23 USC (5-2) at Neberaska (6-2)

#17 Cincinnati (7-1) at #24 Utah (5-2)

Mississippi State (4-4) at Arkansas (2-6)

Fresno State (5-3) at Boise State (6-2)

#13 Texas Tech (7-1) at Kansas State (4-4)

#10 Miami (6-1) at SMU (5-3) - Miami is the best 1 loss team in the ACC. The Ponies don't stand a chance.

Navy (7-0) at North Texas (7-1) - The Mean Green's high powered offense will probably be the difference in this game. I expect the first to 50 wins it. That will be North Texas.

Arizona State (5-3) at Iowa State (5-3) - The Cyclones were the team I was pulling for to win the Big 12. The Sun Devils blew their chance by losing to Houston last week. With Leavitt out, I'm taking Iowa State.

#15 Virginia (7-1) at Cal (5-3) - Virginia travels all the way to the west coast this week. Luckily, Cal is not a good team and likes to give up lots of points. I'll take the Cavaliers in a closer game than one might expect.

#18 Oklahoma (6-2) at #14 Tennessee (6-2) - The Vols and chokelahoma are two teams that need help if the want to make the playoffs. This will be another close SEC game and the loser is out of the race. I'm going with the home team.

#23 USC (5-2) at Neberaska (6-2) - USC can score and Nebraska's D is suspect. I don't think they can hold USC under 35. This one goes to the Trojans.

#17 Cincinnati (7-1) at #24 Utah (5-2) - It's going to be a long trip back for the Bearcats. The Utes win big.

Mississippi State (4-4) at Arkansas (2-6) - Two teams looking for the 1st SEC win and probably the last chance for each team. I'll take the Rebels in an "upset".

Fresno State (5-3) at Boise State (6-2) - Fresno State runs hot and cold while Boise is in line for the Mountain West CCG and an outside chance for the playoffs. I'm going with the home team.

#13 Texas Tech (7-1) at Kansas State (4-4) - Is this a trap game for Tech, looking ahead to the BYU game? The Wildcats have been in every game losing 4 games by a combined 13. I see this as a very close game and going with the home dog coming up just short.

I have a bad feeling about this game. I hope I'm wrong (like my picks).

This Texas team has been tested being on the road for so long. They play up and down to opponents. This means we play up. This will be a tight contest all game long. If our offense continues to improve we win 27-24. I’m a believer.

Congratulations go out to @bctex1106 who scored the fewest misses with only three this week. Not bad considering how crazy the weekend was. Who saw Miami losing to SMU? Geez.

Give bctex1106 a nice round of applause.

Hookemhorb and Sunkist were with 4 misses and former champ Chapalahorn had 5.

It was a tough week for some, namely me and Baron, lol. We had a season high 7 misses each.

Sunkist was the closest to the actual scorer this week, though the tie breaker was not needed.
