That took a while
Probably the best outcome for OSU...also seems like the QB "competition" was staged to push Sayin and keep the back up engaged. I think Gerry Hamilton has compared it to the Quinn Ewers and Hudson Card QB competition a few years back.

Collin Simmons reposted the news on his instagram. Dude is ready to hunt!

Could not be happier with another decade of CDC! Man has risen all Texas sports.
He has had great results on the field (court, pitch, diamond, etc). Still waiting for a big 3 championship, softball was the biggest one so far.

He is also a great guy, super approachable, friendly to fans. Ive met him and he was very gracious, even when my daughter pooped in his office (in a diaper, haha).

A friend of mine is entrenched in the TCU circles. He laments the loss of CDC more than even losing Patterson. He's hating life with Dykes at the helm. They're supposed to be fairly good this year but he's convinced it will just get worse. lol Poor guy.

CDC was an absolute great hire by and for UT. He needs to retire here.

Which is more important? Winning at the the Shoe or in Athens? For me its winning in Columbus. That will set the tone of the season.

I don't think one is more important than the other. OSU and Georgia both have beaten us in our last meetings. Today I read an article about how Sark's teams respond the following year to teams that beat them. Sark was perfect in that regard.

We have a very good chance at beating OSU. I hear a lot about the all everything WR, but they are relying on a young first year guy to distribute the ball. So having the all everything WR isn't a concern unless the QB can get him the ball. Our defense is going to be stifling on that new QB, IMO.

Georgia is also going with a new up and comer at QB, though they have several games to get him right before facing Texas. This is a conference game, so we need to pick up the win.

Thought maybe he was referring to Goosby, but Goosby is #74 unless they changed his number this year.
