The problem with holding back.... is when you stop holding back, you have already established a playing style. Mack Brown used to hold back leading up to the OU game.... how did that work out?

Be who you are no matter who you are playing! Blitz, use motion, etc... trying to "turn it on" a few times a year is a flawed approach.

Tommy Nobis' team mates hated practicing with him because he treated every play he was ever in, practice or not , like it was overtime in the Superbowl....maybe that's why he averaged over 20 tackles a game for his college career

MSU's DL is nothing to look down on. Pretty good group. Did you see Jarray Bledsoe (former Horn) makinig a few tackles? I heard his name several times.

I wonder if Justus Terry gets some playing time against UGa? That should fire up the young man and keep him focused on staying at Texas.

He has been getting snaps in the DL rotation. Just hasn't done much with them. I saw him in on one tackle vs MSU but that is it.

MSU's DL is nothing to look down on. Pretty good group. Did you see Jarray Bledsoe (former Horn) makinig a few tackles? I heard his name several times.

When Bledsoe was at Texas I heard repeatedly of his incredible athleticism. Best athlete amongst interior DTs and maybe (for his size), on the team. Legend had it he could jump up in the air and land in the splits at 290lbs.

He was on the small side for a DT and never advanced much on the depth chart -- thus the transfer. I hated to see him go.

I think we will lose Shaw, Brevard, and Kanu on the DT lineup this offseason. I think Terry will get a big uptick in playing time once they move on!

I think they would talk Kanu into staying. He's been a pleasant surprise. Shaw will leave, hasn't had much action here. Brevard graduates, no? If he ttransfers, it's not goinig to be over PT.
