*****GAME THREAD: No.1 Texas @ No.3 Ohio State*****

This is where the frustration is coming from. This is multiple seasons in a row of the SAME PROBLEMS. Sark needs to figure it out ASAP for a natty to be on the table, otherwise we just lose the same way to the next elite team we face in win or go home games.

You would look good playing against Illinois State. Me, too.
I turned on the game and I literally saw five out of seven passes where he Was throwing to an open wide receiver with no defender in the area and no pass ruch whatsoever. It looked like a 7x7 drill. Illinois State was really bad, because Ou is not that good

I am in no way pissed about this game. Disappointed? Yes. The defense is legit.
First game of the year against a top team on the road.
Agree 100%. I'm disappointed because I was expecting Arch to play better. After the game I thought about it and Ohio State has a really good secondary (might be in the top 2 or 3) and probably confused Arch with their pre-snap looks. Have to remember, Arch was going up against a Super Bowl champion DC that made a living in the NFL for years confusing QBs. OSU had the talent and Matt Patricia had the experience to confuse a young, inexperienced QB. I wonder why nobody is talking about that aspect. Arch will learn and be fine.

But isn’t this why we have an offensive guru as head coach and 5 stars littered across the offense (and defense)?

The gameplan for 3.5 quarters looked as plain vanilla as it comes and there was zero creativity.

Sark won’t beat Day or Smart until he hires an OC.

I can't argue with that.

But I will say that Patricia probably put some stuff out there in the 1st half that Arch hasn't seen before, but he will learn and grow and be ready for it the next time they play. I remember when Patricia and Belichek confused Andrew Luck in the 2014 AFC championship game. Luck was a pro bowl QB that year and he looked like a deer in headlights.

Why not? Were you wanting arch to play instead of Ewers ?? lol.
Not sure if your intent of post or humor. I was simply trying to stop the Quin vs Arch debate. QE has left for NFL. Arch is now the QB. Thanks.

Just saying that some folks should probably apologize to Quinn
Ok. Your opinion has been noted. To my point, regardless of opinions of QE's play or his potential or personal feelings or opinions were hurt, let's move on. This is a new year. Hook 'Em. 🤘🏼

Arch looked similar to a kid starting his first game as QB1 against the defending national champions on their home field. Don’t get me wrong, with his last name he should have been 24-30 362 yards 5 TD’s.(sarcasm should be noted).

My only issue was coming up empty on 3 trips in the red zone, inside the 3 a couple of times. This is year 5 and Sark has not improved AT ALL in those situations. I’m sorry, but you can’t be one of the best offensive minds in football with that issue hanging around your neck.

Arch needs to learn to not missle throws sometimes. Needs to improve the touch. I think he will get there but does need to improve in that area. I will bet that by the end of the season he will improve

He better improve sooner than that! He has the next three games to get fine tuned. After that, it needs to be next man up.

I expected more RPOs with Arch.
Agree, said this all game. Did we have any reverses? Did see many pulling of side traps. Other than a few terribly executed wide out screens, did see any with the line or not many. Just a terribly simple simple offensive plans.
