*****GAME THREAD: CFP SemiFinal - Texas vs Ohio State*****

Also I think one thing Texas can do to hurt the OSU offense is get their QB rattled. He has proven over and again that he does not respond well to pressure. He makes bad throws alot in those situations, throws earlier than he should.
If we pick him off a time or two, it will make even worse on him.
If we can netrualize him they would have to rely on their running game heavily. And I think we can deal with that.
Has Howard beaten Texas? Wasn't he at K State?

Random thought, but noticed this every time the camera is on Sark when calling a play: Sark never covers his mouth when calling the play where as it seems like every other playcaller caught on camera tends to cover their mouths to help prevent anyone from reading his lips. Any chance the opposing team may be able to get a better idea of what play is coming? I.e. the slow developing screen plays or even when we tend to run the ball and always have a defender in the backfield

Most teams have their own lingo they go by. And to understand what Sark is calling, you'd need to know that lingo. I would even suggest he changes it every year.

From several of his packages, you can run a wide variety of plays. It's not easy to predict Sark.

I would tend to think the same but there are people like Conner Stallions

Hey Bruise, we now communicate via helmet mics. We no longer have to signal things in.

True, but if he leaves his mouth uncovered while in communication with Ewers or anyone else about the play, this seems like a potential vulnerability.

This isn't a new issue and this staff isn't stupid, so hopefully they have it figured out. On the other hand the fact that other coaches are careful to hide their mouths does make you wonder.

On paper, we are in trouble. We don't have the offense to compete against this D. It's going to be a long game.

Huh??? I guess I'm interpreting that a lot differently than you.

We're going up against the #1 defense? They played Oregon twice, Penn st, Indiana, Tenn. We played CO state, LA-mon and UTSA. It doesn't look good for us.
