*****GAME DAY: No. 9 Vanderbilt @ No. 20 Texas*****

Another BS call was the personal foul against Muhammed. The blocking receiver slung Manny to the ground late. While running towards the play the ref clearly saw everything, but decided to only call a penalty on Manny's retaliation.
He grabbed the guys throat after he got up. That’s what the penalty was for

I know we have to fight through all the nonsense of bad calls, but they did seem to be concentrated in the fourth quarter.

Sure refs had some influence but our defense was bad last Qt. Guibeaux can't let player get behind him with that big league. Simmons on bench. All injured player: McDonald ,Filsame,Wingo. Not mention Taffe. Glad we got open before go Athens.

That Oklahoma St. game was pretty bad too. Where the ref was basically all up on Charlie Strong and then flagged him 15 yards for 'bumping' into him, in addition to various egregious calls.
If I remember correctly, there were two Def holding calls against our dline in that game. Never seen that before or since. Not two in one game. 🤦‍♂️

The first thing I thought of was the the Okie State game and the official trying to provoke Charlie Strong.

There was a game against Baylor that was over the top bad. I think it was Grant Teaff's last game against Texas. When I say over the top, it was like the conference and the officials were trying to gift Grant Teaff and Baylor.

I posted during the Texas game that Auburn would like to have that goal line (2 point) call. Then there was missed call that cost Auburn a TD against OU and possibly the game. Later the officials admitted to the error. Those two calls calls against Auburn could have very well been a contributing factor of Freeze getting fired.

Last Saturday's game officiating was beyond head-scratching. It was ridiculous. The game would never have been that close. The two mentioned calls against Auburn and Saturday's game should be a wake-up call for the SEC.

Maybe Florida wins this game.....

I was at the Grant Teaff going away party. The craziest thing I remember was a Baylor receiver dropping a pass after a hit. Not near the ground. Logic says it would be a recovered fumble or incomplete pass. SWC refs decided it was a completion and a first down. It was a very bizarre game... I know the OK St game was absolutely terrible, but I think the Baylor gift was right there with it or worse.
