You are welcome my friendThanks for the updates! I’m out of town so I really appreciate them!
Saturday night has gone much better than Friday night for sure.LSU is up on arkie 12-0 in the bottom of the 5th
Vandy is up on fake ut 10-6 top of 9th
And as alonghorn72 stated up above. Missouri takes the series and looking for a sweep at aggie.
So, Kentucky took the series and looking to sweep blow u. One of the wildest walk off run rule games just fimished with LSU winning 13-3 over arkie in 7. Also, Vandy wins against fake ut.Saturday night has gone much better than Friday night for sure.
With LSU winning they are now tied for 2nd with arkansas, 3 games back of Texas. UGA game vs bama was suspended due to rain and will finish tomorrow, they are 3.5 games back and losing to Bama in the 5th of the game that was suspended.
We want Bama to win against UGA, 1 game probably enough but two would be nice.
Two ways to look at the LSU-Arkansas game. We own the tie break over LSU so it would be better for them to win since if we end tied with LSU we still get the 1 seed in the conference tourney. On the other hand, LSU plays 15th place South Carolina next week while Arkansas plays Tennessee. You'd think LSU has a much better chance of sweeping next weekend than Arkansas.
Most important thing, Texas wins the rubber match tomorrow over Florida. Current Magic number to win SEC outright, 2.
Not sure about the SEC but in the Big 12 they had a regular season champ and the tourney champ. Both got trophies and bragging rights. I'd rather have the season championship than the tourney, except some say the SEC tourney is more difficult than Omaha. If we win the conference, how much does that help with the Director's Cup?
Also, are we conference champs if we win the regular season but lose in the conference tournament?
Not more difficult just doesn’t tell who’s best. It’s only single elimination. Not sure about the SEC but in the Big 12 they had a regular season champ and the tourney champ.
