A little surprised that no one has mentioned that the women's team signed a young lady from Ireland for next year's team. Don't have her name, but she can shoot and pass. Not certain about her defense.

I was just perusing the 2025 recruiting/transfer class and we have four centers committed. It looks like Sean Miller values the tall trees in the defense, They range from 6'10" to 7'1". Its been awhile since Texas had that much height.

For those of you old enough to remember Abe Lemons' first UT teams during the late 70s, this is an exact opposite approach to building a team. I believe the tallest player on one of these teams was 6-8. And that team beat a final 4 Arkansas team in Arkansas during the regular season and lost to them in the conference tourney by 1. But I think Miller is doing it right for today's game. But if he can find a Johnny Moore or a Jim Krivacs at guard, he should take them.

Tom Penders teams were short, but quick.

Coach Lemons was great for his one liners. I remember him talking about track coaches and how easy their job was. All you had to tell a runner is “Get back to the finish line as fast as you can!”
