Longhorn News/Discussion (Non-Recruiting)

That's possible and probably likely that there will not be 3 undefeated teams, but in the event that they are, do we get in over the sec champ? If that scenario plays out, we could be on the outside looking in.

In the 9 year history of the CFP, there has never been 4 undefeated teams and only twice has there been 3 undefeated teams.

This year has a chance to be the first with 4 undefeated teams with a better chance of having 3 undefeated teams. Teams with 1 loss are most likely fighting for 1 spot and a less likely chance of fighting for 2 spots.

If Michigan emerges from the B10, I could see pushback from voters over the brewing scandal. Hard to put them in the playoff if there are any questionable wins.

We were discussing a similarly scenario today.
Washington runs the table.... They're in
Florida St runs the table... They're in
Mich/OSU winner goes undefeated... They're in
Alabama runs the table and beats Georgia in the CCG; Texas runs the table wins the B12...
Does the committee keep the sec champ out or do they screw Texas over?
It could get interesting. We need a little chaos in the b10 or pac-x
Certainly head-to-head makes this decision

Herman was 22-13 at this point. (Made it to Arlington in 2018) . Herman after 3 years 24-13

Sark is 20-13 at the same point..Sark after 3 years? TBD

Next 4 weeks should tell us a lot...
