I hear people continue to bring up Baylor and how we struggled against the amoeba defense but we score more against them than any of our other final six opponents last season. The stats would seem to indicate that we have not had any more difficulty with that scheme than others at different times. I do not expect Bama to adjust their scheme dramatically based on what Baylor or Rice did simply because Saban believes his defense is good enough to stop anybody at any time. 

I think I remember Rod Babers saying that Baylor has 5 sacks against Texas in that game and that was when the Horns stopped passing and let Bijon and Roshon win the game. But to your point, Bama has the guys to man-up on our OL without getting fancy.

I think that is exactly why Sark targeted Worthy 17 times against Rice. If Bama thinks we don't have other weapons, then they deserve what's coming.

We know Saban is no dummy, Alabama is going to put their best guy on XW with help over the top..They will force QE to hold the ball a touch longer to find his 2nd and 3rd choices, and so far in his career he hasn't shown he can do that consistently

are you trying to tell me with all the progressions that a QB goes thru that XW was the ONLY guy open. QE has ONE guy in mind, thats XW...look at the tape, you cant tell me XW was the only guy open, there are between 3 to 4 guys in the pattern and one of them is his safety valve.Its QE final decision on who he targets, Sark is trying to give him and the defense multiple options, because Sark know odds are they cant cover all of them..and on the 17 attempts was 0-9 on throws over 15 yards, how many of those were targeted at XW

I think it's fair to say that Sark was sending a message...we can and will go to XW early and often. The message is that he will need double coverage. Of course Saban knows there are other receivers, lots of them. But which one or two will be the favored targets? We'll see.

Well we’re going to find out if we’re ready for prime time today or not. Sark is amassing a huge amount of talent. Texas has to get that stigma off their heads that they have a lot of talent but doesn’t convert to the field. It’s been 13 years. I don’t say this is do or die today but we can’t go in there and lay an egg. I don’t think we will, but we’ll see. Saban isn’t going to let Worthy beat him. We have PLENTY of others to go to now. Can Ewers do it? Again we’ll see. I’d like to see Keilan go house on them and the camera showing Saban cussing out his player personal guy on the sidelines for letting him go. Slamming his headset.
