All sounds good my problem would be with the rankings they are never fair or accurate.

You know what they say. Life ain't fair.

Exactly.  No matter how it is decided some teams are going to feel it wasn't fair.

This made me curious about how the ranking is done for the play offs.

Stepping back big picture here, pre-BCS, there was no system in place to have the 1st and 2nd best teams face off. We know the BCS system wasn't perfect every year but better than those years with multiple national champions named by different rankings systems.

Moving to 4 teams alleviated some of the issues of the 3rd best team having a legitimate argument against being left out.

Do we really need more than 4 to name a clear champion, not really.

I'm not upset about the expansion though, I'm all for more post-season games. I thought moving to 8 made sense but didn't allow for a bye week as an advantage for being top 4.

A source told them Sark would welcome him back if he wants to return.

It sounds like Gary Patterson is seriously considered coming back again in a similar role as last year.

Hopefully they're working with him on techniques to avoid injury to stay on the field and improve his draft potential. Dude can play when he's healthy. Looking forward to watching him.

The greatest ability is availability. 

He clearly has good instincts, timing, etc. Go for the pass break up or interception instead of the kill shot and can likely stay healthier.

I remember Shipley had health issues seemed like forever. 
But man, when he got healthy, he was a beast.

Different injuries, I know. But I’m hoping for the best
