We lost twice to Maryland. 

I can remember when Maryland was a top ten program.

I went and looked.  The last time they were a consistent top ten team was the 1950's.  I don't remember that.  I know you do. 

However, Maryland was only ranked in the top 25 for 3 weeks in the last 15 years.  One of those weeks was the week after they beat us in 2019.  In 2001 they were in the top 10 for a few weeks.  Before that it was the 80s.

Kansas losses were worse to me they wereconference games..

I laughed when people say that at least Herman didn’t lose to Kansas. He almost did in 2019. Duvernay had to go out of bounds to set up the Dicker field goal. If he gets tackled in bounds Kansas wins that game.

Yes, that is plausible, but you could also argue that behind that offensive line, it was amazing he did as well as he did.

In the last 45 years, Texas has only won a conference about once every 5 years. If only they had given Tom a 5th year, he might have won one. Or maybe not ?

Sark won 8 games in his second year. Texas has only won 8 conference games 2 times in last 9 years. 
Herman had 4 years. If Sarks performance is not any better than Herman’s after 4 years, he should be replaced also.

Im willing to bet Sarks performance will be better.

It has been a long time since we have had a team as loaded as this one.

No, you couldn't argue that. The talent level slipped badly under Charlie and Tom. Sam had just left for the NFL so you'd have to do that with a young, green QB. I don't think there is any way Tom finishes better than Sark did that year.

I'll go with maybe not. He had worn out his welcome and his act was getting tired. Recruiting was slipping quick,fast and in a hurry. We're in a much better situation with Sark.

I totally agree with everything you said here. Until further notice, I am all in on Sark. Although this year's recruiting class does need to pick up. And before anyone says anthing, yes, I expect it to.

Sark will have to go 19-6 in the next 2 years to draw even with Tom Herman's record after 4 years.

Ok….perhaps you don’t mind losing to zero u. Herman was 1-4 in his tenure against them. Completely unacceptable.

Put that with NO conference championships and that record ain’t gonna cut it.

The bowl game against Georgia was a great game. The rest of his bowl victories…not so much.

Again, if Sark is 1-4 against zero u, and no conference championships after 4 years, it will be time to move on from him too
