Several other positions probably have multiple experienced players that are of similar preparedness.

QB has 1 player with all the physical skills and 2 years of college ball and 1 year of starting experience under his belt vs a player who has had 1/2 a healthy spring and a true freshmen. If Quinn didn't clearly win that battle by the end of spring we would be in a terrible spot.

That's without mentioning Whitt and Neyor.

I think the featured trio will be Whitt, Mitchell and Worthy. We have a pretty solid second string in Deandre Moore, Neyor and Cook who can fit pretty similar roles as WRs as the first 3.

I don't think we will go 4 or 5 wide with WRs much because that would mean taking JT Sanders and a RB off the field.

Sark is building a hell of a team. I’ll bet we win Big 12 and then head to the SEC

You mean we're not going to run the Oop Dee Oop?

Two things he forgot to mention, JT Sanders and an experienced, stronger and improved OL.

If you're the defense and Texas has Worthy and Mitchell (or a healthy Neyor) wide, JWhit in the slot, Sanders up the seam and anyone one of the RBs in the flat, what do you do?  Double Worthy?  Then I'll take the one on one mismatches with JWhit and Sanders on a S and LB all day long.

All this being said, it comes down to, once again, the OL and how much time QE has.  Tell you one thing though, any defense is going to be hesitant on blitzing and leaving any of those weapons open.

If that defense can get off the field on 3rd downs (4th downs for TT) and hold teams to an avg of 20pts or less......then the B12 Championship is well within their grasp.

Edit: I'm taking the bolded statement off the table. I'm not putting Neyor in that category yet.  I have yet to see him do anything of note to be on that list.  Worthy, JWhit and AD have proven it against top competition.  Neyor had a really good season at Wyoming against lower level talent across the board.

Agree. It is nice to have the option to go 4, 5 wide and run tempo from time to time. With that talent on the field, it should be an effective option.
