I'm thinking they take another reciever and an edge rusher, best case we get Sanders and Mario Williams.

I'm so confused by the numbers, I thought Texas was/could take up to 7 transfers this year?  Ewers, Watts, lets say Billingsley, Sanders, the edge from TCU and 2 others.

I think it just gives a team extra slots for Scholarships.

Don't discount UT with Sanders. I would say UT has a slight lead at the moment.

Sanders is a defense guy. He won't follow Riley anywhere.

What swings have we taken?

We showed initial interest in a couple of WRs, then didn't follow through because another we liked better popped up. There will be more WRs as the weeks go by. I'm not concerned.

Elsewhere, we really haven't whiffed at all. We picked up a 5-star QB and a 4-star CB who has a year of experience at a national title contender.

IT keeps saying we're all going to be quite satisfied once portal is done.

We don't get every recruit we offer. I don't know why you thought it would be different in the portal.

As far as Alabama transfer TE Jahleel Billingsley, IT saying Texas appears to be way out in front of any competition.

A new development, according to IT, is Georgia transfer DB Latavious Brini entering the portal two days ago.

He would likely start at Texas and Sark is pursuing.

Per IT, Alabama transfer LB Drew Sanders arrived in Austin last night and was shown around by his former high school teammate, Ja'Tavion Sanders.

It is their opinion that Arkansas doesn't make sense for him defensively, and Venables' staff at OU is completely new to him.
