Or maybe we just fill up the roster with both like every other national powerhouse. I don't care if we draft kids in India, just field the best.

The best are Texas HS kids. For the last 60 years Texas leads all states with number of kids going to play football every year except one.

He would make a lot of sense with his USC and West Coast ties.

He's coached literally all over the defensive side of the ball.

IT had an update from a Zoom call that Sark did...

- said he's excited to add Kwiatkowski because he's a "pain in the ass" to coach against, raved about his development of players and his evaluation/recruiting ability.

- mentioned Gideon and Joseph as DB coaches.

- it appears the final staff spot will go to an LBs coach, and Kwiatkowski will coach on the DL (edge rushers).

Great scoop for TFB. They made this call last night and had sat on it for 24 hours before that.

About the hire:

HOME RUN – How many times have we whined and complained about our inability to make half time adjustments? Kiss those days good bye!!! This guy excels in game planning, mid-game adjustments, and PLAY CALLING.

His weakness is recruiting but given a couple of years of success, his defense should recruit itself here at Texas. Nevertheless, he is surrounded by good recruiters on defense. He is innovative.

This guy should have been the first name out of the hat, IMO. I know we pined about Muschamp and others, but Sark could not have chosen a better DC.

These staff hires tell me two things.
We are finally acting like the wealthiest athletic program in the country instead of just talking about it. 
If Sark can put this quality of a staff together it’s obvious his coaching peers believe he’s a dude. Kid’s don’t want to play for pretenders (I won’t mention any names) if the coaches believe in him the kids will too.

Looks like the longevity of Sark's coaching experience and the network that he's built is helping to build a good staff.  Let's hope that this translates to wins.  How fast can the team learn the O and D schemes.  Hopefully, it all gets ironed out by the start of the season.

One good thing is that my 2021 season tickets are paid for already from last year.  ?

Simple! I have been waiting for over 10 years for a coaching staff to teach this to the players.I am hoping that this is the one!

Darrell Royal (some say he was a pretty good coach) once said “it’s not the X’s and the O’s but the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s” if the other team can’t block or tackle your guys you will win. 
I’ve been waiting for a staff that can get the players and teach them. 
We both might be getting what we’ve been waiting on for so long ?
