2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

This is what I have been thinking since yesterday. Too many reasons for him to flip to us, the only reasons for him to stay with aggy

1. He is a legacy, don't find this to hold too much weight.

2. Fear of the bad oline at Texas

His father is a former NFL QB.  I'm sure he's aware of Joe Wickline's work at Oklahoma State and what he was working with last year.

I think what his father has been quoted as saying he is aware of is the aggys gawdawful defense - he said something to the effect "you can win with a good offense and a bad defense in high school - but it stops there".

Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

It might be reaching. but if Kevin Murray is Merricks qb coach right now and we offered him a grey shirt even though we all know the kid is a HUGE project, then I have to think coach strong is going to offer Kevin a job on his staff. Idk

I heard a Cedar Hill coach was an aggie grad and pro aggie all the way.  But this could another of those internet rumors, so who knows.

High school coaches are like little tin gods.  They can make or breaks a kids career - depending on whether they like them or not.  Wasn't there a movie made about this very thing - with Tom Cruise?

Strong said some interesting things on LHN tonight about recruiting. 

1-That we only have 4-5 scholarships available. Hmmm, do we have silent commits or is he pressuring other recruits? 

2-Strong said he encourages visits even when committed. So you can pretty much rest assured that Lampkin/UCLA story is BS. That's why I never bought that story to begin with. Umm Strong encourages visits. Not to  mention that Lampkin visited OU. You're telling me Strong disallowed Lampkin to visit UCLA but allowed him to visit our rival, ok. 

3-Strong, "With these kids now, a commitment is nothing but a reservation."
