  2. Good news here if Cook doesn't return to College Station for their big weekend.
  3. Today
  4. Agree with all except the 85 numbers. I count 86 now and 2 morewould be 88. OB could be right this year is almost to keep up with.
  5. Yeah, and it really hasn't rung true. None of those losses to OU ever made a dent in the recruiting class, really. We still got ours. But you can't help but wonder how profitable recruiting would be if we were perennial 11-win team and in the national title conversation every year. Think Bama, but with tons more resources. I will remind you all that aggy just finished with one of the best classes ever and it came on the heels of a 8-4 season, which is a rather dramatic shift from the expected contention for a title this year. They've never proven they can get out of their own division. Aggy just converted their back operation into their NIL campaign and started off this way, getting a great head start on us. We drug our feet almost until it didn't matter.
  6. Here's the way OB explained how the numbers work. Texas is sitting on 31 incoming players for the 2022 class which means they have 2 spots remaining to get them to the limit of 33. For every player above they go above that number, they will have to have a player that signed in the December take a gray/blue shirt and reclassify to 2023. All super-seniors are currently scheduled to be counted in the 85-man scholarship numbers. There has been some talk that all super seniors would be removed out of the 85-man accounting as they were a year ago. That may or may not happen. As it stands now, if Texas gets to 33 in this years class, 5 players will need to leave the program before August in order to get to the 85-man limit. And losing players to attirition only allows Texas to get to 85 players. It does not open up more room to take more players.
  7. I am hoping Campbell doesn’t get influenced by NIL money from another school. I’m thinking it would be hard to turn down big bucks
  8. I'm glad he landed somewhere. Wasn't his fault the way things worked out.
  9. I said earlier there's a puncher's chance, but thats all it is. I don't think Perkins will come to UT. Just don't see it.

Both Men and Women's teams have high expectations with ranks of #1 and #2 respectfully. A good indoor season also likely has a good correlation to a good outdoor season in the Spring so these team's successes could lead to 4 good scores in the directors cup. Softball also looks poised for another solid season with ranks between 9-12.
  11. I count 86 on ships if Perkins comes it would be 87 and Campbell would make 88 and 33 ships for this class.
  12. That's what I said about a week ago. Seems like a likely portal shopper each yr.
  13. As long as he isn't crystal ball'd to us...we have a shot.
  14. I hate that we're a "dark horse"... Sark & Co need to show up with a serious NIL package. He's a starter day 1, close to home, etc... basically what Sha said lol. I would go all in on this kid. He's a difference maker. Don't let him leave the state!!

  16. Oh Aggy, you live by the sword you die by the sword. I wonder how many of those kids they bought stick after experiencing the bright lights of collie land. It takes a special person to appreciate all the cheerleaders being guys and the hot dates being sheep.

  18. Brenden Schooler should have been their #1 customer.
