The Tom Herman recruiting machine is getting going in Austin. After a relatively quiet National Signing Day in February, Herman's new staff has wasted no time getting things kicked off this cycle.

First it was flipping Justin Watkins from Florida State in February. Then it was adding an Oklahoma commit in Cameron Rising. Then it was adding two Sooner targets in Reese Moore and Ron Tatum III.

This time Herman and his staff took dead aim at Ed Orgeron and LSU by making a monster flip in Cibolo Steele four star safety Caden Sterns.

Sterns had been committed to LSU since November and had been very vocal about his intentions to play his college football in Baton Rouge. That was until he popped up on campus and was absolutely blown away by what the new staff showed him Texas had to offer.

Landing Sterns continues to build the momentum for the Longhorns this spring as we prepare to head into the summer.
