Westside High School (Houston, TX) defensive tackle Jordan Elliott decommitted from the University of Houston on Monday evening. Elliott, who holds an offer from the University of Texas, made news of his decommitment known via twitter.

Almost immediately after announcing his decommitment from Tom Herman's Cougars, Elliot received offers from UCLA, Oregon State, Minnesota and Nebraska.

In April, the 6-4 310 lb. Elliott named his Top 10 schools, which included Big 12 schools Texas, Baylor and Oklahoma.

In July, Elliot narrowed his list of schools in which he would take an official visit to, to five.

Texas was included in that list.

The 4-star defensive tackle visited Texas several times this past summer, including Charlie Strong's "Under the Lights Camp" in July.
