Horns have had success against guys that throw hard this year.  It's the guys that throw a lot of offspeed and breaking pitches where they've struggled.

WVU has a bunch of guys that throw hard...Manoah has a killer slider to go with it and he does not walk batters.

Not saying he's bad.  He's the #7 best player on the board by some analysts.  I'm saying Texas has had success this season against guys like him.

T6

Elder gets his 10th K, should've had his 11th on the #9 hitter with 2 outs, but he issues a walk.  Gets a groundout on the next pitch to end the frame

Horns up 1-0 headed B6

Manoah still out there with 107 pitch count

Ford KS

McCann 1-3; 2 outs

Ellis Single thru the right side

Hibbeler is absolutely robbed on a ball with a charge into it to LCF.  LF collides with the wall and robs Masen of an RBI double.  Wow.

Horns up 1-0 thru 7 complete

T8

Elder comes in and gets two quick outs, then gives up a walk and leaves a breaking ball hanging and it gets tattooed over the RCF wall for a 2-run HR

Walks the next batter and that's all for Elder; here comes Bocchi

Horns trail 1-2, still in T8
