Per Horns247 Houston Heights four star cornerback Jalen Green will make an unofficial visit to Texas next week. Green had previously stated to HornSports he was working on making a solo visit to Texas, but had not nailed anything down.

Texas cornerbacks coach Jason Washington recently tweeted out that one of the top corners on the state would be making a visit to Austin, and now we have confirmation on who he was talking about.

Need to land either Jalen Green or Anthony Cook. Just don't see Texas getting both of them.

As things sit right now I think Cook is more likely, but they are going hard after Green and won't give up there.

Do you think Gemon Green is plan b if J. Green or Cook doesn't come? Is Jamison being looked at as a nickel?

Not sure if Gemon is necessarily a plan B. With so many guys in play at DB the staff can go in a number of directions.

And yes I do think Jamison is being looked at as a nickel.

if Texas wins on the field getting recruits will be easy sell especially with the upgrades to team areas. there are tons of talented DB`s available in state for DBU to recruit so Texas will not get them all but they need to sign 6 DB`s. 2017 will be year where we know if Boyd,Hill,Davis & Elliott are NFL caliber or not
