One of the crown jewels of Texas’ 2026 recruiting class just added another accolade to his resume.
Dia Bell, a 5-star quarterback and Texas commit, has been ranked the No. 1 quarterback and the No. 2 overall prospect in the latest Rivals300 rankings update for the class of 2026.
The standout signal-caller boosted his stock even further this offseason by winning the prestigious Elite 11 Finals, a nationally respected competition that pits the nation’s top quarterback prospects in high-intensity drills, evaluations, and interviews. Bell’s performance in the Elite 11 confirmed his reputation as one of the most polished and competitive quarterbacks in the country.
Bell is now part of a rare group of elite Texas quarterback commits. He becomes just the fourth Longhorns QB commit since the mid-1990s to be ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 overall in a recruiting class, joining Chris Simms, Vince Young, and Arch Manning.
As he heads into his senior season, Bell will carry the spotlight as one of the most highly regarded players in the nation and a cornerstone of the Longhorns’ future.
